How to take Vitalix Prime
Two capsules, once a day, with water, shortly before a main meal. Here is the full routine, the best time to take it, what to do if you miss a day, and who should check with a doctor first.
Quick answer
The daily routine, in four steps
The instructions are deliberately short, because a routine you can follow without thinking is the one you will still be following in week four.
| Detail | Instruction |
|---|---|
| Serving size | 2 capsules |
| How often | Once a day, every day |
| When | 15–30 minutes before lunch or dinner |
| With what | Two large glasses of water |
| Maximum | Do not exceed 2 capsules in 24 hours |
| Pack size | 60 capsules — a 30-day supply |
| Who | Adults aged 18 and over |
- 1
Take two capsules together
The daily serving is two capsules. Swallow them whole with water rather than chewing or opening them, and do not take more than two in any 24 hours.
- 2
Drink two large glasses of water
Plenty of water helps the capsules go down comfortably and is the simplest way to avoid the throat discomfort people sometimes get from capsules taken dry.
- 3
Take it 15–30 minutes before a main meal
Shortly before lunch or dinner is the easiest slot to remember, and taking a mineral-containing supplement close to food is gentler on the stomach than taking it fasted.
- 4
Repeat every day for at least a month
One pack of 60 capsules is a 30-day supply. Taking it consistently every day matters far more than any single dose, so keep the pack somewhere you will see it.
Why each step is written that way
Why two capsules, and not one or three
The amounts printed on the label — 22 mg of zinc, 40 mg of vitamin B3 and the botanical extracts alongside them — are the amounts in a two-capsule serving, not per capsule. Taking one capsule halves everything on the label; taking three pushes the zinc past the level UK guidance suggests for long-term supplemental intake. Two is the number the formula was built around. You can see the full breakdown on the ingredients page.
Why whole, not chewed or opened
Capsules are designed to release their contents in the stomach rather than the mouth. Opening them is unnecessary, makes the taste unpleasant, and makes it harder to know how much you have actually taken.
Why water, and plenty of it
Two glasses is not fussiness. Capsules taken with a small sip can sit in the throat, which is the single most common complaint about any capsule supplement. Water solves it.
Why before a meal
Zinc taken on a completely empty stomach is a well-known cause of nausea. Taking the serving shortly before food avoids that for most people, and hooks the habit onto something you already do every day. If you still find it unsettling, take it during the meal instead — the difference is small compared with taking it consistently.
Choosing the time of day that will actually stick
There is no magic hour. What matters is repetition, so pick the meal you are least likely to skip.
| Time | Suits you if… | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Before breakfast | You eat a real breakfast at home every day | Skipping breakfast means skipping the serving |
| Before lunch | Your mornings are predictable and lunch is a fixed point | Keeping the pack at work, not at home |
| Before dinner | Your evening meal is the most reliable meal of your day | Late or irregular dinners on busy nights |
| Before training | You train at the same time on most days | Rest days breaking the chain — do not double up after |
Whichever you choose, keep it the same. Setting a repeating phone alarm for the first two weeks is the least glamorous and most effective trick there is.
What a month actually looks like
Sixty capsules, two a day, thirty days. Nothing to weigh, mix or measure. If you have ordered a two- or three-pack bundle, open one pack at a time and keep the others sealed in a cool, dry cupboard away from direct sunlight — not a steamy bathroom cabinet and not a car glovebox.

| Bundle | Capsules | Days of use |
|---|---|---|
| 1 pack | 60 | 30 days |
| 2 packs | 120 | 60 days |
| 3 packs | 180 | 90 days |
Delivery timings and what happens if a pack arrives late are covered on the delivery page, and the 30-day money-back guarantee is set out on the returns page.
Missed doses and the mistakes worth avoiding
- Missed a day? Take your usual two capsules the next day. Do not take four.
- Missed a week? Just restart the normal routine. There is no loading phase and nothing to catch up on.
- Do not exceed the stated dose. More is not better with a mineral-containing supplement — it is simply more zinc.
- Do not stack overlapping products. A multivitamin plus a separate zinc tablet plus this formula is how people quietly end up well over sensible intakes.
- Do not treat it as a replacement. A supplement complements a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle; it does not substitute for either.
Before you start: safety and suitability
A sensible fit if…
- You are an adult aged 18 or over
- You want one simple daily serving rather than several products
- You are happy to take it consistently for at least a month
- You have checked the label against anything else you already take
Not the right choice if…
- You are under 18
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding
- You take prescription medication or are under medical supervision, unless your GP or pharmacist says it is fine
- You are allergic to any listed ingredient
- You already take a zinc supplement or a multivitamin containing zinc
Zinc can reduce the absorption of some antibiotics, and several nutrients interact with common medicines, so a pharmacist is the right person to ask if you take anything regularly. The ingredient-by-ingredient cautions are listed on the side effects page.
Two claims are authorised for this formula and we keep to their exact permitted wording: zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal testosterone levels in the blood and to normal fertility, and vitamin B3 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Nothing here is a medicine or a treatment for any condition.

Questions about taking Vitalix Prime
How many Vitalix Prime capsules should I take a day?+
Two capsules a day, taken together as one serving. That is the recommended daily dose and it should not be exceeded. A 60-capsule pack therefore lasts 30 days.
When is the best time to take Vitalix Prime?+
15 to 30 minutes before your main meal — lunch or dinner, whichever you eat more reliably. There is no evidence that one hour of the day works better than another, so pick the time you will actually stick to and keep it the same every day.
Should I take it with food or on an empty stomach?+
Shortly before food is best. The serving contains 22 mg of zinc, and zinc taken on an empty stomach is the most common reason people report nausea with supplements of this type. Taking it close to a meal usually removes that.
Can I split the two capsules across the day?+
Yes — one with lunch and one with dinner is perfectly fine if that suits you better, as long as the total stays at two capsules in 24 hours. Taking them together is simply easier to remember.
What if I miss a day?+
Take your usual two capsules the next day and carry on. Do not double up to make up for a missed day, and do not exceed two capsules in 24 hours.
Can I take it with coffee or tea?+
Water is the sensible choice for swallowing capsules. Tea and coffee contain compounds that can reduce the absorption of some minerals, so if you drink a lot of either, leave a gap of around an hour where you can.
Can I take it alongside a multivitamin or other supplements?+
Check the labels and add up the totals first. The point to watch is zinc: UK guidance advises against more than about 25 mg of supplemental zinc a day long term, and one serving of Vitalix Prime already supplies 22 mg. If your multivitamin also contains zinc, choose one or the other.
How long should I take it before deciding whether to continue?+
Give it a full 30-day pack taken consistently, then judge. We will not promise a timeframe for any particular outcome — a food supplement is not a treatment — but a month is a fair, honest trial period, and it matches the 30-day money-back guarantee.
Can I take it before training?+
Yes, if that is when you remember it. Keep it to one serving a day and do not add a second serving on training days.
How should I store it, and can I travel with it?+
Keep the pack sealed in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and out of reach of children. For travel, keep the capsules in their original labelled pack so the contents are clear at security, and open one pack at a time if you have bought a multi-pack bundle.
