Privacy policy
What we collect when you order, why we collect it, and the rights you have over your data under UK GDPR.
What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email address, delivery address and phone number, along with the details of what you ordered. We also record basic technical information such as your browser type and the pages you visited, which helps us keep the site working.
Payment details
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card number never reaches our servers and we never store it. We receive only a confirmation that payment succeeded, the amount, and the last four digits of the card for reconciliation.
Why we use it
To take payment, dispatch your order, answer support enquiries, process refunds, and meet our legal obligations such as keeping accounting records. The lawful bases we rely on are performance of a contract (fulfilling your order) and legal obligation (tax and accounting).
Marketing
We only send marketing email if you have asked for it. Every marketing message includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Order confirmations and delivery updates are service messages and are sent regardless.
Who we share it with
Only the suppliers we need to fulfil your order: our payment processor (Stripe), our delivery carrier, and our email and hosting providers. We do not sell your personal data to anyone, ever.
How long we keep it
Order and transaction records are kept for six years to meet UK accounting requirements. Support correspondence is kept for two years. Marketing preferences are kept until you withdraw them.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it, object to processing, or ask us to restrict it. Email support@getvitalixprime.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to make the site and checkout work. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
